Plant gates and floor cameras, rated before they are trusted

A plant has cameras on gates, docks, and the floor. Most were installed to settle disputes, not to raise an alarm.

Two exterior cameras mounted on a building corner

Cameras

What is usually already there

Wide-angle cameras on tall mounts, often analogue channels behind a recorder.

Setup rates each one for the weapon classes it resolves at its working distance. A camera that resolves neither is not analysed and not billed.

Analogue channels

A channel behind a recorder connects fine and may still not resolve a firearm.

Honest refusal

A camera that resolves neither weapon class is refused. It is not analysed or billed.

Shift handover

Rosters change with the shift, so the alert reaches the supervisor who is present.

Gate to floor

A track follows one person between cameras during an incident and computes no identity.

Response

Where an alert goes

Plants usually route to on-site security with a reviewed step, and dispatch behind it.

The ladder is yours to configure. Nothing reaches an outside agency unless you set that up, and a review nobody actions escalates on its own timer rather than waiting.
